Press In 6 Steps

Step 1

Power on the device and short pressthe "Power" button to turn it on.

Step 2

Place a heat press mat (not included in the Standard Kit) under the substrate, then pre-press it to remove wrinkles.

Step 3

Secure design with heat-resistant tape & cover with PTFE sheet (both not included in the Standard Kit).

Step 4

When the “R” button lights green, apply pressure and start ironing.

Step 5

Pressing is complete.

Can I customize the parameters for Mode A and Mode B? Can I restore default settings after customization?

A1: Yes. Although Modes A and B come with fixed default settings, you can still customize them; A2: To restore default settings, turn on the device, tap and hold the “Power” button for 5 s until you hear a beep.

Why are there wrinkles during heat pressing?

A1: Make sure to pull the hat’s sweatband forward, in front of the hat platen; A2: You can iron the surface of the hat to flatten it before placing the transfer material; A3: Some hat materials, like sponge, are more prone to creasing.

Why must the hat stretcher be in the pressed-down position after placing the hat?

A1: Once you tap the “R” button, the hat platen rises automatically. After placing the hat, make sure the hat stretcher is fully pressed down. If not, it may bounce back during the rise and affect the operation.

What materials do the preset Mode A and Mode B apply to?

A1: Mode A: For heat transfer vinyl; Mode B: For embroidered patches; These are preset modes, but you can also customize settings as needed.

What to do when there is "E1" or "E2" on the screen?

A1: Cut the power immediately and restart. For further issues, contact HTVRONT customer service.

How can I lift the device more easily if it sticks to the table?

A1: To lift the device, first slide one corner off the table, then lift it up. You can also start lifting the device from the side.

How to achieve the best heat transfer results?

A1: Check if the hat fits snugly on the hat platen. Place the hat on platen first, then press down the stretcher; A2: Make sure the heat plate is aligned with the hat; A3: Ensure your settings match the “Quick Reference Chart” in the manual.

How do I switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius?

A1: While the device is on, tap and hold the “Temp” button for 3 s.
